Fiona Chow

Fiona Chow's work experience begins with their most recent role as Director of Data and Insights at Mercator AI, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at EY where they held the position of Risk Analytics Senior Manager from October 2021 to October 2022, and the role of Risk Analytics Manager from January 2020 to September 2021. In 2016, Fiona worked at Bird.i as a Big Data Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining machine learning systems, building a human-in-the-loop feedback system, training and deploying image classification models, and managing real-time data pipelines. Fiona also gained experience as a Data Scientist intern at Wood Mackenzie in 2016. Fiona's earliest work experience at KPMG Malaysia involved being an Audit Assistant Manager from November 2011 to June 2015, where they performed various responsibilities including coordination with engagement leaders, field work management, client interaction, decision-making, financial statement analysis, and compliance review across multiple industries.

Fiona Chow has a Master's Degree in Computer Science (Big Data) from the University of Stirling, which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) degree in Accounting and Finance from 2008 to 2011. Besides their formal education, Fiona has also obtained additional certifications. In May 2022, they received the "DCAM: The Data Management Capability Assessment Model" certification from the EDM Council. In September 2017, they completed the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" course offered by Coursera. Fiona has also taken courses in "Convolutional Neural Networks" and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from Coursera, but specific dates for these certifications were not provided.
