Justin then moved on to work as a Student Assistant at The Graduate College - Kennesaw State University in 2016. In 2017, they completed a Corporate Management Internship at Kroger, where they gained experience in HR functions such as recruitment and employee relations.

After their internship, Justin joined Priority Technology Holdings as a Human Resource Coordinator, where they focused on new hire orientations and maintaining HR records. Justin then transitioned to MerchantE as a Human Resources Coordinator, where they conducted routine audits, addressed employee inquiries, and collaborated with the HR team on projects.

Throughout their career, Justin progressed to more senior roles at MerchantE, including Senior Human Resources Generalist and Lead Human Resources Generalist. In these roles, they played a vital part in fostering an inclusive workplace environment, resolving employee disputes, formulating robust HR policies and procedures, overseeing employee benefits programs, and implementing employee engagement surveys.
