Byron Peters

Byron Peters is a highly experienced Senior Scientist at Merck since August 2020, specializing as a Process Chemist. Prior to this role, Peters served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Scripps Research Institute from January 2018 to July 2020 and at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from February 2016 to December 2017. Peters holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from Stockholm University (2013-2016) and Uppsala University (2011-2013), as well as a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Applied Chemistry, both from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
