Vincent Chan

Vincent Chan is a highly experienced chemist specializing in process chemistry, currently serving as Principal Scientist in Discovery Process Chemistry at Merck since February 2021. Prior to this role, Vincent held the position of Principal Scientist at Seagen, where leadership of a process and analytical chemistry team facilitated the transition of a novel drug-linker into development for ADC preclinical studies. At AbbVie, Vincent played a pivotal role as API team lead for Rapid-to-IND programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver critical materials for clinical studies. Earlier experience includes postdoctoral research at Stanford University under Professor Barry M. Trost. Vincent earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
