Nelson Erickson

Nelson Erickson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and sectors. Nelson began their career in 2001 as a Legislative Correspondent for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Nelson then moved on to work at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, where they served in multiple roles, including Special Assistant to the Undersecretary of Defense and Assistant for Chemical/Biological Nonproliferation. In 2008, Erickson joined Jefferies & Company as an Aerospace & Defense Investment Banking Associate. In 2010, they joined Mercury Systems as the SVP of Corporate Development & Strategy, overseeing M&A activities and investor relations. Most recently, in 2022, Erickson joined JSJ Corporation as a Board Member.

Nelson Erickson received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Colgate University in 2001. Nelson then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, completing it in 2008. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Nelson attended Deerfield Academy from 1993 to 1997. Nelson's education history also includes enrollment at John Cabot University, although the specific years and degree information are unknown.
