Matthew Gordon

Matthew Gordon is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various senior roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Mercury NZ since February 2023, Matthew previously held similar positions at Countdown Supermarkets, Oxford Finance Limited, Software of Excellence, Beca, Westpac, and Delta Insurance New Zealand Ltd. Notably, Matthew embarked on an extended hiking trip along the 3,000km Te Araroa Trail in New Zealand from September 2019 to March 2020, documenting the journey in a blog. Matthew began a career in software development as a C# and .NET Developer at Kiwibank after earning a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from The University of Waikato.
