Don Gibson MD, MBA

Don Gibson MD, MBA has extensive work experience in the medical field. Don currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Mercy Community Healthcare since August 2020. Prior to this, they were the Chief of Emergency Medicine at American Physician Partners from September 2019 to July 2020. Don also held the position of Chief of Emergency Medicine at TriStar Centennial Medical Center from August 2015 to July 2019. Don began their career as the Chief of Emergency Medicine at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in July 2005 and held the position until August 2015.

Dr. Don Gibson has a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General, which they obtained from The University of Alabama from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they attended Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama, where they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1993 to 1997. Dr. Gibson then attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where they specialized in Emergency Medicine and completed their MD degree from 1997 to 2000. Later on, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration from Lipscomb University between 2013 and 2015.
