Melissa Lowe

Melissa Lowe has worked in various roles and organizations throughout their career. Melissa is currently employed at Mercy Community Healthcare as a Team Lead for Integrated Clinical Care, specializing in Marshall County. Prior to this position, Melissa worked as a Licensed Clinical Therapist at the same organization. Melissa also gained experience as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at LifeStance Health. Before transitioning into clinical roles, Melissa worked at Catholic Charities Diocese of Nashville as a County Expansion Program Director and Program Manager. Melissa'searlier experience includes time spent at the State of Tennessee Department of Children's Services as a Team Coordinator, providing administrative support and supervision for various teams. Melissa has also worked as a Program Manager/Safety Analyst at the State of Tennessee and as a Mental Health Consultant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Melissa began their career as a Clinical Therapist at Maryville Academy, where they conducted counseling and assessments for abused and neglected children and adolescents in a residential setting. Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated expertise in clinical therapy, program management, and providing support to vulnerable populations.

Melissa Lowe's education history begins with their time at Rhodes College from 1994 to 1996, where they focused on psychology but did not obtain a degree. Following this, they attended the University of Notre Dame from 1996 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology. Lastly, Melissa attended Columbia University School of Social Work from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Social Work.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa Lowe obtained a certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the State of Tennessee in October 2011.
