Oscar Tan

Oscar Tan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Oscar currently works as a Project Manager at MercyCare since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Sr. Project Manager at TechnologyOne from February 2022 to July 2022. Before that, they worked as a Sr. PMO Consultant/Analyst at IT Vision Australia Pty Ltd from July 2021 to January 2022. Oscar also gained experience as a Project PMO Consultant at The Government of Western Australia from February 2020 to July 2021. Oscar has held positions as an Information Technology Program Manager at Jabil from September 2018 to 2019 and as an IT ERP Project Lead and System Analyst at Matrix Composites & Engineering from June 2014 to 2018. Additionally, Oscar has served as a Regional IT Project Manager at Jabil from June 2011 to May 2013 and as an IT Service Manager and Project Lead at Intel Corporation from September 2002 to June 2011. Oscar also held the role of Sr. IT Systems Engineer - Manufacturing at Intel from December 1996 to September 2002.

Oscar Tan has a strong educational background in the field of Information Technology. Oscar obtained a Graduate Dip. (Distinction) in Information Technology from Damansara Utama College between 1992 and 1995. Oscar further pursued their education at the University of Lincoln from 1995 to 1996, earning a Master of Science degree in Information Technology in Business.

In addition to their formal education, Oscar has also acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2010, they obtained the ITIL v2 Service Manager certification from EXIN. In 2011, they achieved the ITIL v3 Expert certification from Loyalist. Furthermore, in 2013, Oscar obtained the PMP certification from PMI. Most recently, in 2022, they completed the PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation & Practitioner certification from PeopleCert.
