Malcolm Sharpe

Malcolm Sharpe has an extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Malcolm started their career as an Engineering Co-op at ExxonMobil in 1991, where they coordinated the regeneration of drier vessels and developed monitoring reports for the Hydrocracker unit. Sharpe then joined ExxonMobil Chemical in 1992 as a Process Contact Engineer, providing technical support for various refinery units. Malcolm later became a Product Development & Process Improvement Engineer, optimizing the operation of tubular reactors and managing a wide range of finished resins.

In 1998, Sharpe transitioned to Merichem Company as a Senior Technical Services Engineer, responsible for unit startups and troubleshooting. Malcolm then served as a Business Development Manager, promoting and licensing proprietary technology to global refining and petrochemical companies. Sharpe was later appointed as the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing, leading a sales team and setting sales goals. Malcolm then became the New Technology Business Development Manager, focusing on sales activities in Russia, CIS countries, and new technologies for jet fuel, LPG, and crude oil treating applications. Malcolm'smost recent role at Merichem was as the Senior Technology Licensing Director, where they utilized their expertise in sulfur removal/conversion and caustic, amine, and acid treating of hydrocarbon streams.

Malcolm Sharpe obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University in the years 1989 to 1992. Malcolm then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Finance from Louisiana State University between 1992 and 1996.
