Sunday Wilson

Sunday Wilson has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. From 2018 to the present, they have been serving as the Director of Community Mental Health Centers at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. Prior to this role, from 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Master's Level Practitioner in the Community Action Team at Sinfonia Family Services of Florida, where they provided treatment, counseling, and coordination services for clients. Between 2014 and 2016, they were a Specialized Counselor III at North American Family Institute, where they conducted evaluations, assessments, and counseling for adolescents with co-occurring diagnoses. Sunday also worked as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner at Family Preservation Services, Inc. from 2013 to 2014, supporting individuals of all ages in achieving improved mental health. Sunday's experience also includes roles such as a Care Specialist at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. from 2008 to 2012, a Group Treatment Coordinator at Eckerd Youth Alternatives from 2001 to 2006, and a Mentor at Macon-Bibb EOC Headstart in 2000.

Sunday Wilson earned a Master's Degree in Studies in Human Behavior from Capella University, from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology from the University of West Georgia, completing their degree between 1994 and 1998. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Master's Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) from the Florida Certification Board in July 2020.
