Michael Thomson

Michael Thomson has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. Michael currently holds the role of Renewable Development Project Manager at Meridian Energy since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Offshore Development Project Manager at SSE Renewables from June 2021 to September 2022. Before joining SSE Renewables, Michael held multiple roles at Wood, including Senior Renewable Energy Consultant from August 2019 to June 2021, Renewable Energy Consultant from June 2015 to August 2019, and Renewable Energy Graduate Consultant from September 2014 to June 2015.

Michael Thomson attended the University of Strathclyde from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Aero-Mechanical Engineering.
