Dante Ianni

Dante Ianni has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dante is currently the Director of Finance at Meridian Township, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Dante worked as an Assurance Manager - Governmental at Yeo & Yeo CPAs & Advisors from January 2023 to July 2023. Dante also served as a Senior Auditor at the Michigan Office of the Auditor General from October 2014 to January 2023. Dante's previous experiences include roles such as Planning Commissioner and Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate Member at Meridian Township, Student Auditor at the State of Michigan's Office of Internal Audit Services, Hearing Referee at the Michigan Tax Tribunal, and Master Tax Advisor at H&R Block. Dante also worked as the Assistant to the Register of Deeds at Ingham County and as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at Oakland County, where they handled both adult misdemeanor and juvenile cases. Lastly, Dante was an Electronic Document Reviewer at Business Intelligence Associates, Inc. (BIA) in 2009.

Dante Ianni has a diverse education history. Dante earned their Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction in Political Science from the University of Michigan in the period from 2001 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law at the Michigan State University College of Law, where they graduated Cum Laude in 2008.

In 2011, Dante attended the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where they obtained a Master of Laws degree in Taxation by the end of 2013. Additionally, they enrolled at Lansing Community College from 2012 to 2014 to pursue further studies in Accounting, earning an additional certification labeled as A.B. CPA Exam Preparation.

Dante has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2008, they became a Licensed Attorney through the State Bar of Michigan. The next certification came in 2015, when they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the State of Michigan. In 2017, they achieved the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Finally, in 2018, Dante became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
