Peter van Bladeren has extensive experience in the food and nutrition industry, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Mérieux NutriSciences since March 2017 and as President of the International Life Sciences Institute since January 2016. Previously, Peter was Chairman of the Supervisory Board at EIT Food from January 2017 to May 2018, and held key positions at Nestlé from 2002 to February 2017, including Global Head of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs and Vice President of Science and Research. Peter's career began at TNO, where peter served as Director of TNO Nutrition and Food Research from 1993 to 2002. Educationally, Peter holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Toxicology from Leiden University and completed a BPSE at IMD in 2008.
