Andrew Jensen

Andrew Jensen is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Andrew currently works as an Environmental Scientist at Merrick & Company. Prior to that, Andrew served as a Source Water Protection Specialist at the Idaho Rural Water Association, where their responsibilities included developing Source Water Protection Plans and providing assistance to communities in implementing contamination prevention measures. Andrew also worked as an Apprenticeship Program Associate at the same organization, focusing on creating awareness and opportunities in the water/wastewater industry.

Before their time at the Idaho Rural Water Association, Andrew held positions at Inergy Technologies as an Affiliate Marketing Specialist and an Inside Sales Representative. Andrew also worked at 3Degrees Group, Inc. as an Outreach Associate, conducting community and customer interactions to promote renewable energy programs in partnership with Pudget Sound Energy.

Other roles in Andrew's work experience include serving as a Wildland Firefighter at Clearwater Potlatch Timber Protective Association and as Guest Services staff at Sun Valley Company. Additionally, they worked as a Program Staff member at the Boys and Girls Club of America, where they strategically planned and implemented programs for youth development.

Andrew Jensen pursued their education with a focused interest in Climate Change. From 2013 to 2017, they studied at the University of Idaho, completing their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.
