Kate Nugent

Kate Nugent, MBA has extensive work experience in financial planning and analysis. Kate is currently the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Mersana Therapeutics since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ipsen as the Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (US Commercial Operations) from November 2019 to March 2022. Kate also held the position of Associate Director, Global R&D Finance at EMD Serono, Inc. from January 2018 to November 2019, and before that, they were an Associate Director, Global R&D Finance at EMD Serono, Inc. for the Discovery & Late Stage Pipeline from April 2015 to January 2018. Kate also gained experience at Novartis Vaccines where they worked as an Associate Director, Global R&D Finance from October 2013 to April 2015 and as a Finance Manager, Global G&A BPA from February 2011 to October 2013. Kate started their career at Raytheon, where they held multiple roles including Senior Financial Analyst, Zumwalt FP&A from April 2008 to February 2011, Estimating and Pricing Analyst II from July 2006 to April 2008, and they were a part of the Financial Leadership Development Program from July 2004 to July 2006.

Kate Nugent, MBA, obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance, General, at Bentley University, graduating in 2004.
