Kerstin Olsson

Kerstin Olsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kerstin is currently working at Merz Aesthetics as the Head of Medical Affairs EMEA since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Medical Affairs Germany at the same company from 2020 to 2023. Before joining Merz Aesthetics, Kerstin worked at Bayer HealthCare AG as a Medical Science Liaison Manager from 2013 to 2018. Kerstin also worked at Daiichi Sankyo Deutschland GmbH as a Medical Manager from 2011 to 2013. Kerstin started their career in academia, serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Health Science and Technology, Aalborg University from 2010 to 2011, and as a Doctoral Candidate from 2007 to 2010. Kerstin also worked as a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University from 2005 to 2007. Kerstin began their professional journey with an internship at The University of Auckland in 2004.

Kerstin Olsson completed their education with a PhD in Clinical Science from Aalborg University in 2011. Prior to that, they earned an MPharm degree in Pharmacy from Heidelberg University in 2004. In 2004, they also attended The University of Auckland to focus on Pharmacy. In addition, Kerstin Olsson participated in the EFIC Pain Summer School Siena program, and they have a background in Pharmazie from Heidelberg University.
