Jim Sams, PE, is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and technical leadership. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Mesa Associates, Inc since April 2009, Jim oversees the daily operations of the Fort Mill office, directs technical staff, manages projects, and interfaces with clients. Previously, Jim held the position of Lead I&C Engineer at Day & Zimmermann from 2007 to 2009 and served as Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at Cubex Inc. from November 2004 to June 2007. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, obtained between 1993 and 1998.
