Rock Tolman

Rock Tolman has a wide range of experience in human resources. Rock currently works at Mesa Systems as the Head of Human Resources, where they oversee all aspects of HR and leads a team to increase employee attraction and retention while reducing company risk. Prior to this, Rock worked at Savage as a People Solutions Manager, where they managed HR initiatives and successfully resolved ER and labor relations matters. Rock also worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Savage before taking on the People Solutions Manager role. Rock has also held positions such as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Sunnova Energy Corp., Human Resources Manager at Freedom Oil & Gas Ltd, and Human Resources Manager at Savage Services. Rock began their career with internships at Pentair and Schlumberger in the field of HR and corporate compliance, respectively. Throughout their career, Rock has demonstrated a strong focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, and strategic HR initiatives.

Rock Tolman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy/Economics from Brigham Young University, where they attended from 2006 to 2010. Afterwards, they pursued a Dual Masters in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Utah State University's Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, completing the program from 2010 to 2012.
