Amit Barnwal

Amit Barnwal has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Amit currently holds the position of Vice President of Technology at MESKY since January 2023.

Prior to that, Amit worked as an Engineering Manager at ITILITE from September 2022 to December 2022.

From April 2020 to September 2022, they were an Engineering Manager at Goibibo, where they were responsible for milestone planning, execution, and delivery of engineering initiatives. Amit also managed agile team ceremonies, facilitated a collaborative environment, and coached direct reports. Before this role, they served as a Tech Lead from April 2017 to April 2020, and as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2014 to April 2017, where their responsibilities included REST API development and Django App creation.

Amit's career began in October 2012 at Goibibo as a Software Engineer. In October 2011, they co-founded Foodmandi.com and worked as the Tech Head, managing an e-commerce project on PHP (Magento) framework.

Before that, they started their professional journey as a Software Engineer at ibibo Web Pvt. Ltd. in July 2011, where they later transitioned to Foodmandi.com as a co-founder team member.

Amit's early experience includes the role of Software Engineer at WEB REACH TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD from November 2010 to July 2011, and as a PHP Developer Intern at Maxland IT from July 2010 to October 2010.

Amit Barnwal completed their education in a chronological order. From 2003 to 2007, they attended Indira Gandhi National Open University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued an MBA-IT degree in Information Technology at NIILM School of Business, Mumbai. Finally, from 2008 to 2013, they enrolled at Indira Gandhi National Open University again and successfully obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) in the field of Computer Science.
