Harsh Verma

Harsh Verma is an experienced data science professional with a strong background in machine learning and data analysis. Verma served as a Data Scientist at Microsoft from January 2018 to June 2021, where contributions included building machine learning models for customer engagement, enhancing ROI in the retail sector, and automating KPI reporting with Tableau. Subsequent roles include Applied Scientist at Microsoft focusing on graph neural networks and audience targeting models. Currently working as a Data Science Manager at Chewy since May 2023, Verma specializes in leading initiatives that improve pricing strategies and drive cost savings. Prior experience includes an internship at CoFoundersLab, where work on recommendation algorithms, spam filtering, and predictive modeling laid a foundation in data science methodologies. Currently, Verma holds a position as Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Meta since November 2025. Harsh Verma earned a Master’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management with a concentration in Data Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Amity University.
