John McCarthy

John McCarthy currently serves as the Director of Product Management at Meta, where leadership focuses on AI across the company's family of apps. Prior to this role, John led product management for Generative AI on Facebook. At Google, John held the position of Head of Product for Project Jacquard and acted as the PM Lead for Android Auto. John’s extensive experience at HP includes serving as Senior Manager of Product Management, where responsibilities included leading the product team for premium PCs and developing the Omen gaming line, alongside other award-winning products. Earlier roles at HP included Senior Product Manager, Project Manager and Principal Technologist, and Product Designer. John holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
