Jun-han Han

Display Silicon Architect

Jun-han Han is an accomplished expert in electrical and electronics engineering with extensive experience in both research and development. From September 2017 to August 2022, Jun-han contributed as a Research Scholar at the SRC Research Scholars Program, focusing on hardware support for massively parallel processing in memory and storage. Jun-han then held two positions at Meta: first as a Display Research Scientist from October 2022 to June 2024 and currently as a Display Silicon Architect since July 2024, both roles centered on designing cutting-edge display silicon backplanes for augmented reality technology. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Senior Researcher and Researcher at ETRI, where Jun-han led design projects involving 2D materials and AR/VR displays. Jun-han began academic pursuits as a Graduate Research Assistant at Hanyang University and holds degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Hanyang University and a PhD from the University of Virginia.
