Kevin Chu

Kevin Chu has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in mechanical and nuclear fields. Beginning as a cashier at Kmart in 2006, Kevin progressed through various roles, including a data center mechanical engineer at Meta since July 2022, focusing on new region engineering. Previous positions include serving as a bio-hybrid micro-robotics researcher at Virginia Tech and an engineering intern at GE Power, as well as a mechanical engineer and engineering manager at Amazon Web Services, where responsibilities included conducting engineering audits and overseeing remediation projects. Kevin also worked as a nuclear fluid systems and equipment engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, ultimately becoming a senior engineer responsible for the first AP1000 nuclear power plants in Sanmen, China. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
