Kevin McLaughlin has extensive experience in operations and data protection, having held key positions at several prestigious organizations. From January 2006 to July 2018, Kevin contributed to Hugh J Ward & Co Solicitors and Hugh J Ward Solicitors as Operations Manager and Chief Operations Officer, respectively. As a Founding Partner at the Irish Data Protection Association & Academy in late 2017, Kevin provided consultancy services. From October 2020 to January 2022, Kevin served as Head of Privacy & Data Protection at Pepper Ireland, also fulfilling the role of Data Protection Officer. Recently, Kevin held dual titles of Risks, Controls & Issues Manager and Global Privacy Manager at Meta in September 2024. Academically, Kevin earned a Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Irish Law & Taxation from Letterkenny Institute of Technology and a GDip in Data Protection Policy and Procedures from University College Dublin.
