Marcus Laia has accumulated diverse experience in data science and business engineering roles. As a Data Science Intern at Big Data from October 2021 to May 2023, Marcus engaged in modeling, analysis, and optimization of algorithms, automated data processes, and created data reports. During an internship at XP Inc. from May 2023 to October 2023, Marcus developed machine learning models and automated recruitment processes. Currently, Marcus is working as a Business Engineer Intern at Meta. Additionally, involvement with Baja UFMG included contributions to the development of embedded systems for off-road prototypes. Marcus is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology at the Federal University of ABC, having previously studied Control and Automation Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais.
