Mithun Ghosh

Mithun Ghosh possesses a diverse background in data science and machine learning, beginning with an internship as a Data Analyst at Kohinoor Chemical Co Pvt Ltd in 2014. Mithun served as a Lecturer at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology from December 2015 to August 2017, mentoring approximately 250 students and teaching courses in probability, statistics, and applied machine learning. Following this, Mithun gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona while pursuing a PhD in Systems and Industrial Engineering from 2017 to 2022. Subsequent roles included Data Science Intern at Lumen Technologies, Applied Scientist at Walmart Global Tech, and currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Meta since February 2025, focusing on the reliability and feature importance of machine learning models.
