Robyn Greene

Director, Privacy and Public Policy

Robyn Greene has extensive experience in privacy policy and civil liberties, with significant roles at various organizations. Greene served as a member of the Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from September 2017 to September 2019. Prior to that, Greene worked as a Legislative Assistant at the American Civil Liberties Union from January 2011 to May 2014 and as Canvass Director at Grassroots Campaigns from 2008 to 2010. At Meta, from February 2019 to March 2024, Greene focused on law enforcement access and data security as a Privacy Policy Manager, following a tenure as Director of Privacy and Public Policy at New America's Open Technology Institute from May 2014 to June 2018. Greene also held the position of Senior Policy Counsel and Government Affairs Lead at New America's Open Technology Institute from June 2018 to February 2019. Greene earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland College Park and a Doctor of Law from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
