Saeed Rezaei

Saeed Rezaei, PhD, has a diverse background in machine learning and engineering, with experience spanning multiple prestigious organizations. As a Sessional Instructor at Simon Fraser University, Saeed taught Linear Algebra I in 2014. A significant tenure at 1QB Information Technologies involved developing quantum-classical algorithms for reinforcement learning from 2013 to 2019. Following this, Saeed worked at Huawei Technologies as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher, specializing in optimizing deep neural network architectures for mobile devices. A software engineering role at Amazon Web Services focused on migrating billing systems, and currently, Saeed serves as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta. In addition, from November 2023 to August 2025, Saeed was a faculty member at WeCloudData, delivering technical training on generative AI and machine learning. Saeed holds a PhD in Electrical and Communication Engineering from the University of Waterloo and is pursuing further studies in Combinatorics and Optimization at the same institution.
