Sakis Panou

Sakis Panou is an experienced engineering and product management professional with a strong background in software development and team leadership. With a tenure spanning over two decades, Sakis held senior positions at Xilinx, where notable achievements included managing a multimillion-dollar Open Source DARPA project and showcasing the world's first fully open-source system-level emulation system. Prior roles included software team leadership at Atmel Corporation and program management at INSIDE Secure, with a focus on developing embedded systems and software architecture. Currently an Engineering Manager at Meta’s Reality Labs, Sakis also holds a BEng(Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Dundee and a Level 5 Diploma in Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management.
