Tom Emrich

Tom Emrich is a seasoned professional in the augmented and mixed reality sectors, currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Management for the Mixed Reality Developer Platform at Meta since April 2024. With a robust background in product management, Tom has led initiatives at Niantic, including the development of augmented reality platforms and the 8th Wall WebAR Platform, which was pivotal in enhancing the developer ecosystem for AR tools. An accomplished author, Tom published "The Next Dimension," focusing on the application of augmented reality in business growth. Tom's extensive involvement in industry organizations includes roles as a board member for IAB and AugmentedReality.org, and as a co-organizer for AWE Nite SF. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Waterloo and has pursued studies in wearable media at OCAD University.
