Zuoteng Chen

Zuoteng (Sato) Chen is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience across various companies in the automotive, energy, and technology sectors. At the U.S. Department of Energy, Chen served as an Energy Efficiency Consultant, conducting audits and research on energy systems for multiple companies. As a Mechanical Engineer intern at SAIC General Motors, Chen contributed to manufacturing processes for vehicle production. In roles at Pony.ai, including Project Lead and Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, Chen spearheaded projects for autonomous vehicles and served as a founding member of the US Hardware Team. Currently, as a Product Design Engineer at Meta, Chen is involved in developing AR smart glasses. Chen holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation from Zhejiang University and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
