Oleg Burundukov

Oleg Burundukov is the head of research at Metaco. Oleg has over 20 years of experience in the field of software development.

Oleg started their career in 2000 as a Senior Consultant at Mascot Systems/Mastech. Oleg then worked as a Sr. s/w developer at SOLCORP from 2002-2005, followed by a Sr s/w developer at Ness Global Services from 2005-2007. In 2007, they transitioned to working as a quantitative developer at ABN AMRO until 2008 when they began working as a Senior Developer at Flow Traders, where they worked for 6 years. In 2014, Oleg started working as an IT Engineer Expert at ING Nederland, where they held various roles including building the Technical Design Board and the Architecture Guild. Oleg left ING in 2021 to join Metaco as the Head of Research.

Throughout their career, Oleg has gained extensive experience in low latency C++ algorithms and networking, enterprise real-time trading systems, high-availability server clusters and databases, Java EE6, EJB 3.1, JPA 2.0 , JSF 2.0 , JAX-RS 1.1, and JMS: OpenMQ. Oleg has also worked with various OS including Oracle Solaris, Linux, and Windows.

Oleg Burundukov's educational career consists of a master of science in electronics from Omsk State Technical University, as well as various certifications in accounting, hardware security, usable security, cryptography, software security, service-oriented architecture, software design and architecture specialization, software architecture, design patterns, object-oriented design, cryptography I, Rust programming language, and Corda certified developer from Coursera, Udemy, and R3.
