Jennifer S. has a diverse and extensive work experience, starting with their role as an Associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP in 2003. Jennifer then became a Corporate Counsel at Esurance in 2007. After that, they joined the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco as a Senior Counsel in the Legal Division, and later became a Program Manager in the Financial Institution Supervision and Credit Division.

In 2018, Jennifer joined Metal, a fintech payments and crypto startup, as the General Counsel, VP of Legal and Regulatory. Jennifer successfully guided the company through a merger and played a crucial role in managing legal and compliance portfolios related to fintech, cryptocurrency, AML/BSA, and KYC compliance. Jennifer also advised on various legal issues, built legal and compliance teams, and oversaw strategic initiatives, partnerships, and venture financing deals. Additionally, they served as the Interim HR Director, handling HR and recruiting functions.

Jennifer's next role was as the General Counsel at DFINITY in 2021, where they played a pivotal role in the launch of the Internet Computer, a public blockchain network. Jennifer worked on revolutionizing open internet services and distributed networks through hosting scalable smart contracts.

Alongside their role at DFINITY, Jennifer also became a Charter Member at TechGC and an Advisor at a confidential company in 2020. Currently, in 2021, they are working as the General Counsel at Metagood - NFTs for Social Good Marketplace, where they are involved in empowering communities and launching on-chain NFT collections that create value for the community and do real-world good.
