Christopher Wachipa

Christopher Wachipa is an experienced heavy duty fitter and diesel mechanic with a strong background in the mining and metals industry. Currently employed at Metals X Limited since January 2016, Christopher also serves as a diesel mechanic at Fortescue Metals Group and continues to work as an HD fitter at WesTrac Cat, roles undertaken since 2019 and October 2018, respectively. Previous experience includes positions as a fitter at Leightons Mining from August 2012 to 2016, at Barminco from June 2008 to August 2012, and as an HD fitter at the Colliery of Hwange from 2000 to 2008. Christopher holds an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Australia.
