Shaza Mezian

Shaza Mezian is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Shaza Mezian has a diverse education history. In 2021, they attended the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies to study UX/UI Design. Prior to that, in 2015 and 2016, they acquired a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy with Psychotherapy & Counselling Skills from the Transformations Institute, specializing in Psychology. Continuing further back, from 2004 to 2008, Shaza received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Applied Science University.

In addition to their formal education, Shaza has obtained various certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2021, they completed an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner program offered by IBM. Shaza also acquired certifications in Gestalt Psychology and Web Design from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2021, as well as Human-Computer Interaction - HCI in 2021. Furthermore, in 2020, they completed the "Introduction to User Experience Design" certification on Coursera. Before focusing on design-related certifications, Shaza also completed improvisation courses, "Don't Panic" and "Don't Panic 2," through The Courtyard Playhouse in 2019.
