David Jones

David Jones has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. David is currently serving as the CTO at Metrics Design Automation since November 2017. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Consultant at XtremeEDA for 15 years, where they provided digital hardware design and verification services and training. David also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Intrinsix and Zaiq Technologies. Additionally, they have held roles as a Contractor at ICinergy and Founder at DVLogix. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Semiconductor Design Engineer at MOSAID and as a Volunteer at National Capital Free-Net and Toronto Free-Net. David started their professional journey as a Software Designer C-Op at Gandalf.

David Jones attended Col. By Secondary School from 1985 to 1988. David then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering (Co-op) from the University of Ottawa, graduating in 1992. Following this, they obtained a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, completing their studies in 1995.
