Roderick Diaz

Roderick Diaz is an experienced transportation planning professional with a robust career spanning various leadership roles in prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Planning and Development at Metrolink since January 2014, Roderick specializes in strategic planning, capital program development, and service development. Prior experience includes directing systemwide planning and transit corridors at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where oversight included significant projects such as the Crenshaw/LAX Light Rail Transit and management of countywide transit system capital assets. Roderick also held the position of West Coast Planning Manager at STV Incorporated, leading transportation planning practices across the western United States, and served as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, managing key projects for the Federal Transit Administration and various regional transit agencies. Roderick holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley.
