Thalia Mavrikakis

Thalia Mavrikakis is currently serving as a Human Resources Assistant at the Metropolitan Opera since February 2023. Thalia's previous experience includes working as a Residential Security Monitor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where responsibilities involved monitoring dormitory access and reporting suspicious behavior. An internship in the New York State Senate under State Senator Andrew Gounardes provided opportunities to engage with constituents and address their needs. Earlier roles include a Cashier/Hostess at Floral Park Diner, a Food Vendor at Spoons Ice Cream and Cereal Bar, and a Dental Assistant at South Bay Orthodontist. Thalia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, graduated in 2022, and completed high school at Floral Park Memorial High School in 2018.
