Douglas Gold

Douglas Gold is the Controller of Metropolitan Partners Group. Doug has more than 20 years of experience working in the alternative investment industry. He has extensive experience in all aspects of investment management having built the finance, operations, tax, and reporting functions of new launches as well as institutionalized the functions at established firms. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2020, he was a Controller at H.I.G. Capital working on the firm’s credit platform. Prior to H.I.G. Capital he held senior level finance positions at several large alternative investment firms including King Street Capital, R3 Capital, and Greywolf Capital. He began his career at the accounting firm Rothstein Kass prior to joining the finance division at Goldman Sachs. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
