Anup Puri

Anup Puri has a vast and diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Anup started their career in 1995 as a Network Operations Manager at Interlink and then served as an IT Manager at CR2 Channel Banking Software from 2000 to 2003. Anup also worked as an IT and Project Management consultant from 2003 to 2004, providing services to companies in different sectors.

From 2004 to 2007, Anup worked as an Infrastructure and Application Consultant at Siemens PLM Software, followed by a role as an IT Manager at Lucky8bet.com from 2007 to 2010. At Lucky8bet.com, they managed and provided consultancy and implementation expertise for an e-Business industry offering gambling products and solutions.

Anup then joined Opta Sports as a Technical Operations Manager in 2010 for a brief period before moving to Arts Alliance Media. At Arts Alliance Media, they held multiple roles, including IT Systems Support Manager from 2011 to 2013, Technical Service Delivery Manager from 2013 to 2017, and finally, as Head of IT from 2018 to 2020.

In 2020, Anup joined Payroc as a Technical Operations Director before transitioning to their current position as Head of Data Centre at the Metropolitan Police in 2021. Additionally, they also served as a Transformation Manager - Core Infrastructure at the Metropolitan Police from 2021 to 2023.

Throughout their career, Anup has gained experience in various areas such as data management, infrastructure, technical operations, project management, and consultancy.

Anup Puri attended Newham College of Further Education from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained an HNC degree in Software Engineering. Anup also holds additional certifications including ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner from The Knowledge Academy. Anup has also obtained a certification in PRINCE2 Agile™ Practitioner, although the institution and the year of obtaining the certification are not specified.
