Mohammadreza Eslami is a highly experienced structural engineer and academic with a diverse background in both research and teaching. Currently serving as a Research Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Senior Engineer at MEYER BORGMAN JOHNSON, Eslami is engaged in performance-based earthquake engineering and structural engineering projects. Eslami holds multiple teaching positions, including Lecturer in Structural Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has previously served as an Associate Professor of Practice at Texas State University. With a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Kobe University, alongside postdoctoral fellowships at Clemson University and Michigan State University, Eslami has extensive research experience in structural fire safety and fire resistance design, complemented by practical engineering roles, such as Senior Engineer at Hinman Consulting Engineers and involvement in significant construction projects like the Milad TV Tower.
