Kumar Shourav

Kumar Shourav is VP - Partnerships under the Global Payments team, tasked with hunting and forging meaningful partnerships with MTOs globally. Prior to joining MFS Africa , he was a founding team member at TerraPay where he built the business plan, procured licenses across multiple countries, partnered with various financial institutions and launched commercial services of the company. He also held various international Sales and Business Development roles at UAE Exchange and Yabx as well as consulted a few MTO start-ups on their initial launch plan in the fintech industry. Shourav holds an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, India and a B.Tech. (Hons.) degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, India. He likes to keep himself abreast with new challenges in the industry, travel across multiple countries and interact with people from various backgrounds. Outside of work, he is an avid Cricket fan, likes to read and is passionate about trekking. He speaks English, Hindi and Bengali.
