Layne G. Carlson

Mr. Carlson graduated from LeTourneau University with a B.S. in Accounting and obtained his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. Mr. Carlson began his career at MGEX as an investigator in the Audits & Investigations department in 1991 and is currently Chief Regulatory Officer. He accepted the positions of Corporate Secretary & Treasurer at the Exchange in 2005. As Corporate Secretary, Mr. Carlson is responsible for documenting and maintaining official records for the Exchange. As Treasurer, Mr. Carlson keeps financial records and manages all banking functions for the Exchange.
