IT Project Coordinator at MHD Communications

Elizabeth Fornero has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Elizabeth began their career as a Brand Ambassador, promoting the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet computer. Elizabeth later worked as a Catering Associate, assisting with set-up and take-down of catered events. Additionally, they held the position of Italian Tutor, providing language support to students at Illinois Wesleyan University.

In 2012, Elizabeth served as a Science Teacher at Marine Math & Science Academy High School. Elizabeth then transitioned to an Assistant Store Manager role at Christopher & Banks, gaining experience in leadership, associate development, visual merchandising, and administrative tasks. Elizabeth later became a Store Manager at The Children's Place.

Elizabeth's interest in IT led their to join the Institute for Human Resources as an MIS Manager, where they managed the organization's network and IT resources. Elizabeth then worked as a Service Desk Technician at Mavidea Technology Group, providing remote client support and assisting with hardware installations. Elizabeth continued their IT career as a Dispatcher/Service Desk Technician at Warmbir IT Solutions, coordinating and scheduling service desk work and project implementations.

Elizabeth's most recent role was at MHD Communications, where they held the position of IT Dispatch and later transitioned to an IT Project Coordinator role. In these roles, they set up projects, managed client expectations, and assisted with the creation of new processes and procedures.

Throughout their career, Elizabeth has demonstrated strong customer service skills and a dedication to providing excellent support. Elizabeth has gained experience in project coordination, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Elizabeth Fornero completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Illinois Wesleyan University from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Cisco Academy program at Heartland Community College from 2015 to 2016, earning a certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate. Prior to their higher education, they obtained a high school diploma from Burlington High School from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Elizabeth has obtained several certifications. These include Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2020, CompTIA A+ ce from CompTIA in January 2016, CCNA Routing & Switching from Cisco in September 2016, CCENT from Cisco in August 2016, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor from the American Heart Association in October 2012.
