Hanna E. Schenck

Hanna E. Schenck is a PhD candidate at MHeNs - School for Mental Health and Neuroscience since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an ANIOS in neurosurgery at MUMC+ and an elective medical intern in neurosurgery at Maastricht UMC+. Hanna has gained international experience through a neurosurgery elective at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and has worked on telemetry monitoring in cardiology. Research contributions were made as a research assistant at the Muhimbili Orthopedic Institute, focusing on CT scan utilization in severe traumatic brain injury cases. Leadership experience encompasses serving as the President of Universities Allied for Essential Medicines and managing a medicine project with AIESEC in the Netherlands. Educational achievements include a Master's in Medicine and a Master's in Global Health from Maastricht University and Thammasat University, alongside a Bachelor's in International Track in Medicine from Maastricht University.
