Chet Kammerer

Chet Kammerer begins his 24th year with the HEAT and his second in the role of Senior Advisor of Basketball Operations/Basketball. Kammerer, who spent the previous 14 seasons (2004-18) as Vice President, Player Personnel, continues to scout for the HEAT and serve as an advisor to President Pat Riley and Senior Vice President, Basketball Operations/General Manager Andy Elisburg as well as a coaching consultant for Head Coach Erik Spoelstra. After initially joining the organization as a scout in 1996, he was promoted to Director of Scouting (1998-99), appointed Director of College Scouting (1999-00) and then spent four seasons (2000-04) as the team’s Director of Player Personnel.
