Arthur W. Magill

Arthur W. Magill has extensive work experience in the field of radio frequency engineering, specifically in the areas of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy. Arthur W. is currently employed as a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer at Micrima Limited since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Group Leader for Radiofrequency Technology for MRI at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from October 2016 to December 2021. Before that, they were a Scientist at Forschungszentrum Jülich from March 2013 to April 2016, where they focused on RF coil design for human MRI and spectroscopy. Arthur W. also worked as a Scientist at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from September 2007 to January 2013. Earlier in their career, they were a Mansfield Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham from March 2006 to August 2007, and an Applications Engineer at the FMRIB Centre, University of Oxford from November 1999 to July 2002.

Arthur W. Magill has a strong educational background in the field of Physics. Arthur W. obtained their PhD in Physics from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued an MSc (distinction) in Machine Perception and Neurocomputing at Keele University from 1997 to 1998.
