Rex Justesen's work experience includes various roles at different companies. Rex started their career as a Ranch Hand at Deseret Cattle and Citrus in 2008, where they were responsible for daily tasks related to cattle upkeep and pasture management. In 2014, they became a Sales Manager at 24 Hour Fitness, where they managed the sales staff and collaborated with local businesses to drive gym memberships. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Credit Specialist at MSI Credit Solutions, managing business development and advising clients on credit repair for home purchases. In 2021, they interned at Max-IR Labs, developing a water quality sensor using innovative technology. Currently, Rex is working at MicroAI, starting as a Junior Project Manager from June 2022 to January 2023 and then transitioning to a Project/Solutions Engineer role, specializing in agile development of edge/IoT AI.

Rex Justesen began their education at Collin College, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2017 to 2018. Rex then continued their studies at The University of Texas at Dallas, completing their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2018 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Rex has obtained various certifications. In 2023, they completed several courses on Coursera, including "Deep Learning with PyTorch: Siamese Network," "Deploy Machine Learning Model into AWS Cloud Servers," "Programming Fundamentals in Kotlin," "IBM AI Engineering Professional Certificate (V2)," "Computer Vision and Image Processing Essentials," "Deep Learning with Tensorflow," "Deep Neural Networks with PyTorch," "Introduction to Deep Learning & Neural Networks with Keras," and "Machine Learning with Python."
