Raman Yazdani

Raman Yazdani is a Principal DSP Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. since August 2021, with prior experience at Huawei Technologies from December 2016 to August 2021, where contributions included leading coherent fiber-optic modem development and architecting low-power DSP algorithms. A previous Staff Scientist at Broadcom from September 2013 to December 2016, Raman focused on low-power high-rate signal processing for wireless technologies and led algorithms from conception to implementation. An academic background includes roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, where research encompassed network coding and error control algorithms. Raman Yazdani holds a PhD and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
